Best Genshin Impact Wallpapers Of Sumeru & Dendro Characters – Screen Rant

Genshin Impact has released a new wallpaper series for The Morn A Thousand Roses Brings, centered around the game’s Dendro and Sumeru characters.
Genshin Impact has released a new official wallpaper series for Genshin Impact players to enjoy, centered around the game's current and upcoming Dendro and Sumeru characters. The most recent wallpaper series from HoYoverse is dedicated to Genshin Impact's most recent update, The Morn A Thousand Roses Brings. Genshin Impact's 3.0 update was one of the game's largest updates to date, thanks to the arrival of the long-awaited Dendro element and its corresponding region, the lush, forest-filled nation of Sumeru.
Genshin Impact's 3.0 update introduced three new playable characters, the 5-star Tighnari and the 4-star Collei, who both wield the element of Dendro and a Bow weapon, and Dori, a 4-star Electro Claymore user. Genshin Impact's next update, 3.1: King Deshret and the Three Magi, arrives on September 28. Version 3.1 will introduce three new playable characters to Genshin Impact: 4-star Hydro user Candace and 5-star Electro user Cyno in phase one, and 5-star Hydro character Nilou in phase two.

Genshin Impact announced the release of its official "The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings" wallpaper series on Twitter, sharing a link to download a ZIP file of the wallpapers in the collection from HoYoverse's website. The wallpaper series includes two different wallpapers featuring official Genshin Impact artwork. Additionally, the wallpapers come in nine different sizes, including both landscape and portrait orientations, for use on desktop and mobile devices. Genshin Impact players can choose the wallpaper with the best dimensions for their device out of the official collection of the latest Genshin Impact wallpapers.
The first wallpaper in the "The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings" wallpaper series features six Genshin Impact characters, including three characters that have not yet been released. Going from left to right, the wallpaper features Nahida, Tighnari, Dori, Collei, Alhaitham, and Nilou. Tighnari and Collei made Genshin Impact history as the game's first playable characters to wield the Dendro element when they arrived in Version 3.0. Dori, a traveling merchant who wields Electro, arrived later in the update's second phase.
Though they are featured in the first "The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings" wallpaper, Nahida, Nilou, and Alhaitham are not currently playable in Genshin Impact, nor are they expected to become playable during Version 3.0, The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings. Out of the unreleased Sumeru characters in Genshin Impact featured in the wallpaper series, Nilou is the only one with a confirmed release date. As part of Genshin Impact's Version 3.1 livestream, it was announced that Nilou will arrive in phase two of the 3.1 update alongside the second rerun of Geo-wielding alchemist Albedo.

The silver-haired Alhaitham is an upcoming playable character in Genshin Impact. Appearing in Chapter III of the Archon Quests as an NPC, Alhaitham's character model revealed his Dendro Vision, as well as hinting at him being a Sword user when he becomes playable. Nahida is an upcoming Dendro character in Genshin Impact whose weapon and release date remain unknown. Like existing playable characters Venti and Zhongli, Nahida is the mortal vessel of one of Genshin Impact's Archons, the Lesser Lord Kusanali, the Dendro Archon.
The second wallpaper in the "The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings" wallpaper series features five Genshin Impact characters, only one of whom is currently playable in Genshin Impact. Tighnari, whose long bunny ears make him unmistakable, is the only character featured that is already playable in Genshin Impact, after appearing on the first banner of Genshin Impact's 3.0 update. The four characters pictured on the second wallpaper that are not yet playable in Genshin Impact are (left to right): Nilou, Nahida, Dehya, and Alhaitham.
The recent Genshin Impact 3.1 livestream confirmed that scarlet-haired Nilou will arrive in the second half of the upcoming update. Though the release date for phase two of Genshin Impact 3.1 has not been announced by HoYoverse, it is expected to fall around October 14, 2022. Nilou will be the third Hydro character in Genshin Impact to wield a Sword, following Xingqiu and Kamisato Ayato. In the center of the wallpaper sits Nahida, which is unsurprising considering she is the embodiment of the Dendro Archon and the series is dedicated to the release of Dendro and Sumeru.

Next to Dendro Archon Nahida is Dehya, who exclusively appears on the second wallpaper in the series. Dehya appears frequently as an NPC during Chapter III of Genshin Impact's Archon Quests, but she is expected to become playable in the future. Dehya, who was revealed in Genshin Impact's trailer for Sumeru, will be a Pyro user who wields a Claymore, similarly to Diluc and Xinyan. Dehya's release date and rarity remain unknown, though leaks suggest she will be a 4-star character. Alhaitham makes a less prominent appearance on the second wallpaper, letting the other unreleased Sumeru characters take center stage.
Genshin Impact's latest wallpaper series, "The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings", highlights the playable characters added to Genshin Impact as part of the 3.0 update, as well as Sumerian characters who have not yet been released. Other than Nilou, who is confirmed for version 3.1, the unreleased Sumeru characters that appear in the wallpaper series do not have confirmed release dates. Hopefully, Genshin Impact will announce the release dates for Nahida, Dehya, and Alhaitham soon.
"Dance of Lotuslight" Nilou is the only character confirmed for the upcoming 3.1 update that appears in the "The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings" wallpaper series. Presumably, the two other playable characters arriving in Genshin Impact's 3.1 update, the game's first-ever Hydro Polearm user Candace and Cyno, the mysterious character from the Genshin Impact manga, will get a wallpaper series of their own when Version 3.1 is released on September 28, 2022. Genshin Impact's official wallpapers can be found on the Genshin Impact Twitter account and HoYoLAB.
